Please take a few minutes to go on www.workersbuildcanada.ca and send a letter to your M.P. on Bill C-37. Your voice is imperative in order to protect our rights.
If this bill is passed and transpires to the construction trade, administration overhead would drastically increase, thus causing a significant load of over dues. Furthermore, all of the unions’ personal information including transactions and such would no longer be made private and therefore allowing people in authoritative positions outside the union to have access to this information. As a result, all unions, local and provincial are working to the best of their ability to make their voices heard. You too can make your voice heard. Here’s how: As a unionized member of Local 95, you can visit www.workersbuildcanada.ca . There you will be asked for basic information such as your first name, last name and contact information. Then you will have the option of emailing, faxing or mailing the MP. Choose the one you would like. Then you have the option of picking one out of three letters which you feel best suits the message you are trying to get across. This process is meant to simplify things for you as a member. They will contact the MP on your behalf. You simply need to fill out the information and follow the brief process described above. Together we can unite as brothers and sisters and make our voices heard.
