Message from Business Manager

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In light of the recent events that have taken place down by Union Station, I would like to take a minute to remind you all of the importance of safe practices in the workplace. No matter how rushed, tired, or stressed out you may be, safety is always key and can never be compromised. Taking a shortcut or working under influence may seem harmless in the moment – until it’s not. Please be aware and mindful of your work and surroundings at all times, as someone’s life could be on the line. Practice safety before it’s too late. A preventable accident can cost you your own life, as well as somebody else’s. The Union provides Safety courses, and there is ample material online as well. Please remain informed and knowledgeable. It could save your life one day!
